The midlands of South Carolina are a great place to live and work, which is why Boyd Burks chose to call it home. With roots in West Helena, Arkansas, Boyd Burks came to South Carolina for the second time in 1999. Real estate is a passion for Boyd, and with his background as a military leader for over 20 years, it was easy to see why more than 30 families a year called Boyd for help when buying and selling real estate. His "Get by Giving" principle is why so many of his clients say that he was very responsive to their needs and always reachable. Boyd has a Master's in Business Administration and coupled with his military experience you can see why he has many repeat clients.
Boyd Burks has been part of different brokerages for over 19 years. He started with Exit Realty in 2005. During his time as an agent, he has been in the top 10% of agents within the companies he has worked under and has even been awarded the top producer award. He now serves at Brand Name Real Estate and continues to rank in the top 10%. He is not just passionate about helping families find or sell their homes, Boyd has served at his local church as a leader. They often serve in the community by feeding the homeless, conducting prison ministry, through local community outreaches, and on overseas mission trips.
He has a passion for family time, when Boyd is not in the office or volunteering, you will often find him on the sideline watching his son practice or play in some sporting activity. You may also see him as one of the assistant coaches or just keeping the books. He loves spending time with his daughter who is in college. He prides himself on balancing his work schedule so he may attend most of these events.
